OMV Petrom hat bereits den Hauptvertrag im Wert von 1,6 Mrd. \u20ac mit der italienischen Firma Saipem unterzeichnet, einem multinationalen italienischen \u00d6ldienstleistungskonzern, der  einer der gr\u00f6\u200e\u00dften seiner Art weltweit ist. Das Unternehmen wird Management, Planung, Beschaffung, Herstellung, Montage, Verschiffung, Installation, Pr\u00fcfung und Inbetriebnahme der Schiffsanlagen des Projekts \u00fcbernehmen. Dar\u00fcber hinaus umfasst der Auftrag die Pr\u00fcfung und Inbetriebnahme der Erdgasmessstation sowie der Onshore- und Offshore-Abschnitte der Gasf\u00f6rderleitung, die von anderen Firmen gebaut werden. <\/div>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<\/p>\n<div>Der Auftrag wurde im Rahmen eines \u00f6ffentlichen Ausschreibungsverfahrens vergeben. Neptun Deep ist das gr\u00f6\u200e\u00dfte Erdgasprojekt im rum\u00e4nischen Schwarzmeerraum, in dessen Erschlie\u200e\u00dfungsphase OMV Petrom und Romgaz bis zu 4 Mrd. \u20ac investieren werden. Neptun Deep wird rund 100 Milliarden Kubikmeter Erdgas f\u00f6rdern und Rum\u00e4nien zum gr\u00f6\u200e\u00dften Erdgasproduzenten in der EU machen. Andererseits gab OMV Petrom im Juni die Entdeckung neuer \u00d6l- und Gasvorkommen im S\u00fcdosten und S\u00fcden Rum\u00e4niens bekannt, wobei sich die Investitionen f\u00fcr die Explorationsbohrungen auf rund 20 Millionen Euro belaufen. Insgesamt erreichen die entdeckten Vorkommen mehr als 30 Millionen boe (Barrel \u00d6l\u00e4quivalent) an f\u00f6rderbaren Ressourcen, was drei Viertel der Produktion des Unternehmens im Jahr 2022 entspricht. OMV Petrom ist das gr\u00f6\u200e\u00dfte Energieunternehmen in S\u00fcdosteuropa mit einer j\u00e4hrlichen konzernweiten \u00d6l- und Gasproduktion von rund 43 Millionen boe im Jahr 2022. Der Konzern ist in Rum\u00e4nien und den Nachbarl\u00e4ndern mit rund 780 Tankstellen unter den beiden Marken OMV und Petrom vertreten. An OMV Petrom isti der rum\u00e4nische Staat  \u00fcber das Energieministerium mit etwa 20,7% beteiligt. Weitere  21,7% werden von rum\u00e4nischen Pensionsfonds gehalten, dazu kommen fast 500.000 Einzelanleger und andere rum\u00e4nische Unternehmen. An Romgaz h\u00e4lt der rum\u00e4nische Staat 70 % der Anteile. Auf der anderen Seite ist OMV Petrom der gr\u00f6\u200e\u00dfte Beitragszahler zum rum\u00e4nischen Staatshaushalt mit rund 39 Milliarden Euro an Steuern und Dividenden, die zwischen 2005 und 2022 gezahlt wurden.
