Jh. In diesem Geb\u00e4ude entfalten das Nationaltheater Lucian Blaga\u201c und die Rum\u00e4nische Oper ihre T\u00e4tigkeit. Errichtet wurde das Geb\u00e4ude in den Jahren 1904&#8211;1906 auf dem ehemaligen Holzmarkt, dem heutigen Avram-Iancu-Platz. Die feierliche Er\u00f6ffnung erfolgte am 7. und 8. September 1906.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<\/p>\n<p>Architektonisch zeichnet sich das Geb\u00e4ude durch die ausgewogen-funktionale Volumetrie. An der n\u00f6rdlichen Hauptfassade befindet sich der Arkadeneingang, der mit an den Barock erinnernden Elementen verziert ist. Der Auff\u00fchrungssaal verf\u00fcgt \u00fcber 928 Sitzpl\u00e4tzen und ist im neobarocken Stil dekoriert; der Umriss ist ovalf\u00f6rmig, das Theater verf\u00fcgt \u00fcber zwei Logenr\u00e4nge und einem Balkon und ist mit einer Kuppel auf metallenen Quertraversen \u00fcberdacht.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<\/p>\n<p>Vor dem Haupteingang des Theaters ist eine 3 Meter hohe Statue des Namensgebers <a href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Lucian_Blaga\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lucian Blaga<\/a> zu sehen. Sie zeigt den Dichter in einer meditativen Pose und ist ein Werk des Bildhauers Romul Ladea. Das Kunstwerk wurde 1986 eingeweiht und neben der gleichgro\u200e\u00dfen Statue des Nationaldichters Mihai Eminescu platziert. Lucian Blaga war eine herausragende Pers\u00f6nlichkeit des siebenb\u00fcrgischen Kulturraums im 20.
