Moreover, he described the president\u2019s announcement as a hostile move and an obvious attempt to break up the party. Ilie Bolojan announced he would immediately convene a meeting of the party leaders.<\/p>\n

In turn, the Social Democrats said they had not been consulted either, and the Social Democratic MP Mihai Fifor mentioned that the nomination and its political effects will be analysed in detail by the party’s leaders.<\/p>\n
