\nwere held yesterday with the People’s Movement party, which Orban described as
\nencouraging, saying the possibility was also discussed for this party to be in
\nthe government. Ludovic Orban must present the structure of his cabinet and the
\nproposals for ministers by next week. The Social Democrats have said they will not
\nbe in Parliament to ensure quorum when the voting on the new government takes

\ndeal on the UK’s exit from the European Union was reached after intense talks. The
\nannouncement was made a few hours before the start of the European Council

\nJunker has recommended the leaders of the 27 EU member states to approve the
\ndeal. Apart from Brexit, the summit also looks at the relationship with Turkey following the latest
\ndevelopments in Syria and the European Union’s multiannual budget. EU leaders
\nwill also discuss ways to combat climate change, which is a priority for the
\nnext European Commission, and the expansion of the European Union. Romania’s

\nK\u00f6vesi can now start her 7-year mandate as head of the European Public
\nProsecutor’s Office. This is an independent body responsible for investigating
\nand indicting crimes against the European Union’s financial interests. Laura
\nCodru\u0163a K\u00f6vesi is the first person to occupy this position, which she has
