\nprime minister Florin C\u00ee\u0163u says the reported 10% rise
\nin net investments in the first quarter of the year published by the National
\nInstitute for Statistics is an indicator showing investors’ and multinational
\ncompanies’ trust in his government. Investments create bigger production
\ncapacity, which generates economic growth that benefits all Romanians, the
\nprime minister posted on Facebook. According to the National Institute for
\nStatistics, net investments in the Romanian economy in the first quarter
\nof the year amounted to some 4 billion euros, up 9.9% compared with the same
\nperiod last year. Almost 36% of these investments went to the building sector,
\n25% to industry, trade and services and 3.5% to agriculture.<\/p>\n

\nIrina Begu and Nadia Podoroska will on Friday face Bethanie Mattek-Sands of the
