In the fifth leg of the Champions League in womens handball on Saturday and Sunday, two Romanian sides will be taking on their French opponents. In group A, Romanian side CSM Bucharest, on their own turf, will be up against the French team Brest Bretagne. Hungarian side Gyor tops the group with 8 points while CSM ranks fourth with 4 points. Sunday will see the second Romanian – French game, when in Group B, Rapid Bucharest will be playing Metz away. On Saturday in the second round of the the second preliminary leg of the European Cup, Romanian mens handball side and vicechampions, Minaur Baia Mare, will be playing Ukrainian side Odesa.
