\nchampion, Chinese Meng Chen, 3-2. It was the second victory of the Romanian
\nsportswoman against Chen, currently world number two. Bernadette Sz\u0151cs,
\ncurrently no. 12th in the world ranking, represents Romania’s main hope for an

The Romanian men’s handball team has
\ntwo friendly games scheduled this week in preparation for the participation in
\nthe European Championship in Germany, which will take place in January. On

\nNational Team of Montenegro with 38 to 28. On Saturday, in Toulouse, Romania

In the Romanian Football Cup, three
\ngames took place on Thursday. In group B, CSM Alexandria, from the second
\nleague, beat FC Boto\u015fani 2-1 at home, and the Cluj derby between Universitatea

\nechelon, defeated, at home, the champion of the last edition of the
\nSuperleague, Farul Constan\u0163a, 1-0. The top two teams from each group move to

\non home turf. The match of the day will take place in Craiova, where Universitatea
\nwill take on FC U 1948. Three games are scheduled for Sunday. Universitatea Cluj
\ntake on the FC Voluntari team and Farul Constan\u0163a will then play against FC
\nBoto\u015fani in Ovidiu. The day will end with the stage derby, hosted by the
\nNational Arena in Bucharest, between FCSB and Rapid. On Monday, the last two
