The Dinamo Bucharest men’s handball team suffered a serious defeat by the French team Paris Saint-Germain, 30-41, on Thursday, away from home, in a game part of the Champions League’s Group B. Dinamo did not benefit from the presence of coach Xavi Pascual and players Javier Humet, Dan Raco\u0163ea and Mamdouh Shebib, who had to stay in Bucharest due to inconclusive Covid-19 tests. Most of the Dinamo goals, 9, were scored by the Frenchman Cedric Sorhaindo. In the Group B ranking, Barcelona is top of the list with 4 points. Dinamo has two points, obtained after the victory in the first game, with the Polish team Kielce. In the next match, due next Thursday, the Romanian champion will take on FC Porto.<\/p>\n

In the Champions League in women’s handball, Group A, CSM Bucharest will play, on Saturday, in Koprivnica, against the Croatian team Podravka. Next, news from football. The last three games counting for the last round of 16 of the Romanian Cup were played on Thursday. ACSO Filia\u0219i, from the third league, beat first-league UTA Arad 1-0, then Dinamo Bucharest won 1-0 against the second league team Ripensia Timi\u0219oara. The game in Craiova, won by Universitatea in front of the defending champion, CFR Cluj, also ended 1-0.<\/p>\n

Three matches are schedulled for Sunday: Farul Constan\u021ba vs. CS Mioveni, FC Boto\u0219ani vs. FC U Craiova 1948 and UTA vs. CFR Cluj. The last two games are to be held on Monday: Gaz Metan Media\u0219 against Sepsi Sf\u00e2ntu Gheorghe and Universitatea Craiova against Dinamo. Cluj tops the ranking, with 24 points.
