1. Organizer<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n
The Romanian Broadcasting Corporation, headquartered in 60-64
\nGeneral Berthelot Street, fiscal code RO8296093, organizes a prize winning
\ncontest dedicated to Ia\u015fi and Ia\u015fi County in Romania, through Radio Romania
\nInternational (RRI).<\/p>\n
\n
\n
\n
<\/p>\n
The Organizer reserves the right to change the contest’s concept
\nand format any time it deems necessary, or to discontinue the contest at any
\nmoment for its duration, informing the public of the changes before they come
\ninto effect, by posting them on the website www.rri.ro, as well as through
\nannouncements on air on Radio Romania International.<\/p>\n
\n
\n

<\/p>\n
2. Running period<\/p>\n
\n
\n
\n
<\/p>\n
The contest runs between July 1 – August 31, 2019, mailing
\ndate, (namely August 31 2019, 24:00 hours Romanian time, for online
\ncontributions), held in all of RRI’s broadcast languages.<\/p>\n
\n
\n
\n
<\/p>\n
3. Rights and conditions for participation<\/p>\n
\n
\n
\n
<\/p>\n
The contest is addressed to all individuals who are 18 years of
\nage by the date of July 1, 2019. Individuals who do not have the right to take
\npart in the contest are employees, contractors of Partners, and relatives up to
\nthe second degree of individuals working at, or collaborating with, the
\nRomanian Broadcasting Corporation.<\/p>\n

4. Concept<\/p>\n
\n
\n
\n
<\/p>\n
a) The contest runs between July 1 – August 31 2019, held in all
\nof RRI’s broadcast languages.<\/p>\n
\n
\n
\n
<\/p>\n
b) One listener or user may win a single prize <\/p>\n
\n
<\/p>\n
c) The contest questions will be broadcast periodically on RRI,
\nas well as posted on the RRI website, www.rri.ro, and on RRI social profiles
\n(Facebook, LinkedIn).<\/p>\n
\n
\n
\n
<\/p>\n
d) Participants have to answer all questions in the contest in
\nwriting, by any means: e-mail, on the addresses specified on the website of the
\nSection to which the answers are being sent, on the Section’s Facebook profile,
\nby letter sent to the address The Romanian Broadcasting Corporation,
\nheadquartered in. 60-64General Berthelot Street, sector 1, Bucharest, PO Box
\n111, cod 010165, on the LinkedIn profile, or by fax, 00.40.21.319.05.62. We
\nencourage participants to add what determined them to take part in the
\ncompetition, and especially why they listen to RRI broadcasts or follow RRI
\non-line.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n
e) Answers sent by the same listener or user to several RRI
\nSections shall be taken into consideration only by the first Section to which
\nthey were sent.<\/p>\n
\n
\n
\n
<\/p>\n
f) The prizes shall consist of trips to Romania or cultural
\npromotional materials (for instance, CDs, albums, brochures, DVDs); the money
\nvalue of prizes cannot be claimed or be granted.<\/p>\n
\n
\n
\n
<\/p>\n
5. Validation of winners and reception of prizes<\/p>\n
\n
\n
\n
<\/p>\n
a) The listener or user who takes part in the contest is kindly
\nasked to send to RRI, by letter or e-mail, their complete identification data
\nand their mailing address (and home address, if different), in order to be able
\nto receive a possible prize.<\/p>\n
\n
\n
\n
<\/p>\n
b) Only correct and complete answers, sent on time, qualify for
\ngetting a prize.<\/p>\n
\n
\n
\n
<\/p>\n
c) Winners of Grand Prizes (trips to Romania) will cover
\nexpenses related to personal transportation to Romania, as well as costs
\npertaining to securing a visa, where necessary. Prizes shall be sent by mail,
\npostage paid by RRI, within the limit of funds allocated from the state budget,
\nin the shortest time possible.<\/p>\n
\n

\n
<\/p>\n
d) Upon reception of the prizes, winners cannot refuse or return
\nthe package, except for objective reasons, justified in writing, in order to
\navoid generating additional costs for RRI. Refusing or returning the prize
\nwithout a clear justification, accepted in writing by RRI, leads to that person
\nbeing excluded from the list of participants eligible for prizes at the
\nfollowing contest organized by RBC through RRI. The same provisions apply to
\nerrors in communicating a home address, for which the participants are responsible.<\/p>\n
\n

\n
<\/p>\n
e) Winners are kindly asked to inform RRI in writing, by any
\nmeans, about receiving the package and prize contents, in order to verify the
\nintegrity of postal delivery.<\/p>\n
\n
\n
\n
<\/p>\n
6. Liability<\/p>\n
\n
\n
\n
<\/p>\n
By sending in answers for the contest, all participants agree and
\ntake on the obligation to comply with the requirements and conditions imposed
\nby the Organizer under these Rules.<\/p>\n
\n
\n
\n
<\/p>\n
7. Private data protection<\/p>\n
\n
\n
\n
<\/p>\n
In line with legislation in force, the Organizer is obligated to
\nmake public the name of winners and list of prizes granted as part of this
\ncontest. The organizer is also obligated to comply with the provisions of Law
\nnr. 667\/2001 on the protection of private data stored for the duration of the
\ncontest. To this end, the Organizer commits to ensure the confidentiality of
\nprivate data of participants in this context. By simply taking part in the
\ncontest and providing private data, the participants agree for that data to be
\nentered into the Organizer’s database. Upon specific written request by the
\nparticipants, the Organizer shall not use private data upon ending of the
\ncontest.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n
8. Force majeure<\/p>\n
\n
\n
\n
<\/p>\n
In the understanding of these Rules, force majeure means any
\nevent that cannot be controlled, remedied or foreseen by the Organizer, and
\nwhose occurrence makes them unable to fulfill obligations under the Rules,
\nincluding, but not limited to: war, fires, flooding, labor strikes and
\nblockades, earthquakes, powerful storms, other catastrophes of any kind. If a
\nforce majeure situation prevents totally or partially the good running of the
\ncontest in accordance with the conditions laid out in these Rules, the
\nOrganizer shall be exempt of responsibility for the duration of the force
\nmajeure.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n
9. Litigation<\/p>\n
\n
\n
\n
<\/p>\n
Any possible litigation between the Organizer and participants
\nin the contest shall be settled amicably. If amicable settlement is impossible,
\nthe litigation shall be referred for settlement to the competent courts in
\nBucharest.<\/p>\n
\n
\n
\n
<\/p>\n
10. Publication of the Rules<\/p>\n
\n
\n
\n
<\/p>\n
The Rules of the contest shall be published on the www.rri.ro
\nwebsite and on RRI’s Facebook profiles. The reference version shall be the
\nversion in the English language.<\/p>\n
