\nanswer is no, then you must listen to the story we’re about to tell. It’s the
\nstory of some unusual parties, which in time became charity events. It’s the story
\nof an online platform called minuni.ro, miracles.ro in English. With details on

Minuni.ro came into
\nmy life quite naturally, I think all the roads I’ve taken have brought me to
\nthis point. I just realised I had to do this one afternoon as I was preparing
\nsome \u00e9clairs for a charity fair. Mixing the cream it dawned on me I wasn’t
\ndoing what I really wanted to do. I didn’t really know what exactly that was,
\nbut that was when the idea behind minuni.ro started to take shape. Minuni.ro is
\nan online platform that seeks to promote good people and the good deeds they
\ndo, while on the other hand it is my playground, my way of bringing together
\nfine people who want to make donations for a certain cause, people who want to
\nfeel they really make a difference in the world.<\/p>\n

Right from the
\nstart, minuni.ro set out to come up with something totally new, so much so that
\nfor almost a year now, it didn’t fall short of extending unusual invitations, Veronica Sare told us:<\/p>\n

I love the idea of
\ncoming up with something different. The first minuni.ro event was a party for
\nmy puppy, Lola, a puppy dog I found on the street. I found her on November 25,
\n2013 and last year, on November 25, I threw a party, Lola and friends, a
\ncharity party. Who would have thought someone might throw a party for a dog!
\nThere were 65 people who made donations, so I could raise funds for a foster
\ncare home. It was before the winter holiday, and the timing was perfect. Then I
\nthrew a party for my birthday, it was a day when I called my friends asking
\nthem not to bring any presents, but to donate the money they would have spent
\nfor me instead. And then I raised funds for Magic Camp, a camp for the children
\ndiagnosed with cancer. We held the most recent and big minuni.ro event nearly a
\nmonth ago, when we had an imaginary anniversary, that’s how we called it,
\nVeronica’s imaginary anniversary, since my birthday is in January and all my
\nlife I have wanted to celebrate my birthday under clear skies, with warm,
\nbeautiful weather. I invented an anniversary where I raised funds for a project
\ncalled ‘Teach for Romania’ and it was very entertaining, people came and played
\ngames. We got together, split into teams and we turned the Old City Center into
\nan educational playground. People had to go in the street and tell other people
\nabout minuni.ro briefing them on what we do, and also had to raise funds. And
\nthat’s how we somehow succeeded in taking them out of their comfort area and,
\nalthough I knew they were doing a wonderful thing, something they would get
\nthem really excited, they actually exceeded my expectations, because when the
\nimaginary anniversary ended, they asked when the next one would be. <\/p>\n

Joining Veronica is
\nthe Faceboook community. And although there are many people who believe online
\nrelationships are not something real, Veronica worked wonders and surrounded
\nherself with good people, people who are always ready to try out something new.
\nFor instance there is an entire community that manufactures kaleidoscopes,
\nsince Veronica has always loved kaleidoscopes. With details on that, here is

I have a lot of
\nfine people around me. About three years ago, I started being very active and sort
\nof wearing my heart on my sleeve: I posted events from my personal life, I was
\nvery honest. And in time, this community kind of grew. I like to turn every
\nepisode into a story. I make kaleidoscopes, I stage workshops for
\nkaleidoscopes, we get people together, and for each kaleidoscope they make, a
\nchild in a placement centre will manufacture a kaleidoscope with me, so that
\nchildren in placement centres may also get acquainted with the magic of mirrors
\nand beads. Our last kaleidoscope workshop was fully booked, because people want
\nto be there and cannot wait for the next event. I think all of this happens
\nbecause I am very transparent, very honest and there are many people who can
\nrelated to the way I am. <\/p>\n
