On the occasion of the New Year, the Romanian President Klaus Iohannis conveyed a traditional message to all Romanians. He wished Romanians a new year 2016 with happiness, accomplishments and higher aspirations. In his New Year address, the Romanian President said the year 2015 was a difficult year but one in which the Romanian society returned to normality. <\/p>\n

Klaus Iohannis: \u201cFor all of us, the year 2015 was a complicated year, marked by serious challenges, with extreme moments when difficult but necessary decisions had to be made. However 2015 was the year of returning to normality, when a deep reconstruction process of the Romanian society was started. With hope, courage and determination, Romanians have proved that they can overcome any obstacle\u201d.<\/p>\n

In his New Year address, President Klaus Iohannis expressed hope that in 2016 changes for the better will happen in Romania and he urged Romanians to make good use of all opportunities in order to make the country progress. <\/p>\n
