CSM CSU Constan\u021ba and CSM T\u00e2rgovi\u0219te won the semis of Romania\u2019s Cup in women\u2019s basketball held in Sf\u00e2ntu Gheorghe on Sunday. CSU defeated the title-holder Sepsi Sf\u00e2ntu Gheorghe, 88-80. The vice-champions managed their second win this season against the en titre champions from Covasna. In the other semifinals game, CSM T\u00e2rgovi\u0219te outperformed CSM Alexandria, 81-54. The finals is due on Monday.<\/p>\n

FC Voluntari versus Universitatea Cluj and FC Boto\u0219ani versus Farul Constan\u021ba ended in goaless draws.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n At the National Arena in Bucharest on Saturday Rapid secured a 4-0 win against the team, which tops the table, FCSB. On Sunday in a local derby in Craiova, southern Romania, Universitatea obtained a 2-1 win against FCU 1948.<\/p>\n The leg\u2019s last match pitches O\u021belul Gala\u021bi against Poli Ia\u0219i on Monday. FCSB goes into the play-off with 32 points followed by Rapid with 28, CFR with 27, Universitatea Craiova, with 25, then Farul and Sepsi, each with 22 points. In the play-offs first leg, on Friday Rapid takes on Farul Constanta in Bucharest, while on Saturday, CFR Cluj plays at home Universitatea Craiova.
