Romania\u2019s handball team Dinamo Bucharest on Thursday outperformed German side Fuchse Berlin 38-31 in a home game counting towards the Champions League\u2019s Group A. At the end of a balanced first half the visitors had one goal more than the hosts. However, Dinamo made a successful comeback and put on a better play in the second half of the game. The hosts\u2019 best scorers were the Brazilian Haniel Langaro and Israeli Yoav Lumbroso, each with five goals.<\/p>\n
Following this result, Dinamo advanced to the third place in Group A, with 10 points out of 7 matches. \u00a0Veszpr\u00e9m and Paris Saint-Germain are ranking first in the group each with 12 points. Dinamo will be playing the first game on November 21 also against Fuchse, this time in Berlin.<\/p>\n
This week has seen the football matches of the groups stage of Romania\u2019s Cup. \u00a0Two surprising results were registered on Thursday: third leaguer S\u0103n\u0103tatea Cluj secured a one-all draw against first leaguer Farul Constan\u0163a, which managed to score the equalizer only in the 85th<\/sup> minute of the game through Rivaldinho, the son of the great Brazilian footballer Rivaldo. Another surprising result was the one-all win of the second-leaguer Metalul Buz\u0103u against Universitatea Craiova. In the leg\u2019s derby, FCSB secured a 4-0 win against Dinamo Bucharest.<\/p>\n This weekend will be seeing the matches of the Superleague\u2019s 15th<\/sup> leg. In the first match on Friday Gloria Buz\u0103u plays CFR Cluj. On Saturday, Sepsi OSK is taking on Petrolul Ploie\u015fti in a home match while Dinamo Bucharest receives UTA of Arad. On Sunday, Politehnica Ia\u015fi will be up at home against O\u0163elul Gala\u0163i, while Universitatea Cluj on its own turf plays Farul Constan\u0163a. Universitatea Craiova takes on FCSB in a home match. The leg\u2019s last two matches are on Monday when Unirea Slobozia plays FC Boto\u015fani and Rapid Bucharest plays FC Hermannstadt.
