The Women’s Handball World Championship has begun. The competitions are taking place in Germany and the Netherlands. In the second half, Dinamo led on the scoreboard several times, even with a three-goal difference. However, the Poles had a better finish and managed to win. The Romanian champions are in 7th<\/sup> place in the group standings, the last but one, and will play the next match on December 3, at home, against the Danish team Aalborg.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Next up, women’s volleyball. CSO Voluntari defeated the Spanish team Heidelberg Las Palmas 3-1 away from home in the first leg of the round of 32 of the CEV Cup. The team from Ilfov won after almost two hours of play. The second leg will take place next Tuesday, in the Rapid Hall in Bucharest.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n At the World Junior Table Tennis Championships in Cluj-Napoca, Romanian player Iulian Chiri\u021b\u0103 has already secured two medals in the doubles. On Wednesday, he qualified for the semifinals of the men’s doubles with Portugal’s Tiago Abiodun, and in the mixed doubles with Anna Hursey of Wales.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Let’s move on to ice hockey. On Wednesday, two of the best teams in Romania, ACSH Gheorgheni and SC Miercurea Ciuc, met in a match that mattered both for the national championship and for the regional Erste Liga competition.
