Romania\u2019s female handball side has qualified for the main group of the World Women\u2019s Handball Championship underway in Germany and the Netherlands. The trainees of coach Ovidiu Mihaila ended in the second position of Group A with four points after Denmark but ahead of Japan and Croatia.<\/p>\n
On Monday, in the game, which decided the group\u2019s winner, the Danish side clinched a 39-31 win against Romania. The best Romanian player was Sorina Grozav, with 9 goals scored. Romania enters the main group with two points and on Wednesday will be playing Hungary, the winner of Group B. On Friday they will be taking on Senegal and on Sunday, December 7, on Switzerland. The first two sides in the group will be playing in the quarterfinals.<\/p>\n
