Dear friends, given the frequent malfunctions reported at the Radiocom transmitters that broadcast RRI programmes, please note that, when such malfunctions occur, Radiocom switches RRI programmes as quickly as possible to a backup transmitter, which operates on alternative frequencies. When you cannot listen to RRI\u2019s English language broadcasts on the usual frequency, please switch to the alternative frequency. Thank you for your understanding!<\/strong><\/p>\n

You can also listen to Radio Romania International’s English programmes via satellite\u00a0Eutelsat 16A\u00a0on 11,512 MHz, vertical polarisation, azimuth 16 degrees East. Symbol rate: 29,950 MSym\/s, Standard: DVB-S2, Modulation: 8PSK, Audio PID 510. The satellite transmits the unencrypted signals of RRI’s channels.\u00a0Eutelsat 16A\u00a0covers Europe, as well as North Africa, the Middle East, part of European Russia, areas in the Arabian Peninsula and part of the Caspian Sea region.<\/p>\n
