obtained a victory against Croatian Petra Martic, 4-6, 6-3, 6-2 followed by a clear
success in the quarter finals against the competition's second favorite Elena
Svitolina of Ukraine 6-3, 6-2. Unfortunately the Romanian lost the semis to
Petra Kvitova of the Czech Republic.
