It’s news from tennis now. WTA number 3 tennis player, the Romanian Simona Halep in a press conference in Miami on Wednesday, officially confirmed she would be collaborating with Romanian coach Daniel Dobre. Since November last year, Simona Halep has not had a coach, as the Australian Darren Cahill announced he would take a break as he wanted to spend more time with his family. Halep had an attempt to work with Belgian coach Thierry Van Cleemput, immediately after the Australian Open, but after the tournament in Doha they invoked incompatibility issues that prevent them from working together. Simona Halep worked with 50-year old coach Daniel Dobre before, between 2015 and 2017. Dobre also coached another excellent Romanian tennis player, Alexandra Dulgheru, almost ten years ago, at a time when Dulgheru climbed as high as the 26th-place according to the WTA rankings.
