Dinamo now has 6 points and is fourth in the group. French team Nantes is first with 11 points, followed by Motor Zaporoje of Ukraine, and Beshiktash of Turkeyh, both with 7 points. Holstebro is last in its group, with 3 points. Romania's champion team will have its next game against Motor Zaporoje on November 26.
In the women's Champions League, CSM Bucharest, current champions of both Romania and Europe, plays on Sunday against Danish team Midtjylland. The Bucharest team has qualified to the main groups already, but if they lose they go forward with no points whatsoever. Ahead of this game, counting towards stage 6, the last, of group C, Midtjylland is second, with 6 points, while Romania's champion is in 3rd place, with 4 points. In the game in Denmark, Midtjylland won 24-21.
And now for news from rugby. On Saturday in Bucharest, the Romanian national team plays against Canada in the second test game of the autumn. Last week, the Oak Leaf Knights defeated the United States team in Bucharest 23 to 10.
