E<strong>l bucium<\/strong> es un instrumento de origen dacio, os recuerdo que los dacios fueron los antiguos habitantes de Dacia (que corresponde a la actual Rumania), y fue utilizado, en el pasado, en los principados de Transilvania, Moldavia y Valaquia como dispositivo de se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n en los conflictos militares para avisar sobre el acercamiento de tropas enemigas. La palabra deriva del lat\u00edn \u201cbucinum\u201d, que originalmente significa \u00abcuerno curvado\u00bb, un instrumento utilizado por los romanos.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<\/p>\n<p>El tubo de este instrumento est\u00e1 hecho de madera de tilo, abeto, sicomoro, fresno o avellano y mide entre 1,3 y 3 metros de longitud. Hoy d\u00eda lo usan sobre todo los pastores para la se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n y la comunicaci\u00f3n en las monta\u00f1as boscosas, as\u00ed como para guiar a las ovejas y perros.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<\/p>\n<p><strong>El tulnic. <\/strong>Una de las variantes m\u00e1s conocidas del bucium es el tulnic, una clase de cuerno pastoril, de forma tubular, abierto a ambas extremidades. Para soplar el tubo, se utiliza la extremidad m\u00e1s estrecha. El tulnic est\u00e1 hecho de corteza de tilo o de sauce y lo usan los habitantes de los Montes Apuseni y de otras zonas de los C\u00e1rpatos Orientales.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<\/p>\n<p><strong>La toac\u0103<\/strong>, es un instrumento de percusi\u00f3n idi\u00f3fono que consiste en una viga larga y plana, o tambi\u00e9n una o m\u00e1s l\u00e1minas met\u00e1licas, que son tocadas con unos mazos. La percusi\u00f3n se efect\u00faa de manera r\u00edtmica, y, en funci\u00f3n del lugar en que se golpea la l\u00e1mina, se pueden obtener sonidos de diferentes alturas, cre\u00e1ndose as\u00ed l\u00edneas mel\u00f3dicas simples. Este artefacto es usado en iglesias y monasterios ortodoxos para convocar a los monjes a orar o para anunciar las m\u00e1s importantes procesiones religiosas.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Las flautas.<\/strong> El folklore rumano cuenta con una gran variedad de flautas que, en el pasado, eran utilizadas por los pastores. Las flautas son instrumentos musicales de viento formados por un tubo cil\u00edndrico con agujeros que se toca soplando por uno de los extremos a la vez que se van tapando y destapando los orificios con los dedos o con llaves.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<\/p>\n<p>Las versiones m\u00e1s peculiares de las flautas rumanas son las siguientes:<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<\/p>\n<p><strong>El fluier<\/strong>, una clase de caramillo, el inseparable compa\u00f1ero de los pastores, hecho de madera, es un peque\u00f1o tubo cil\u00edndrico con boquilla de silbato.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<\/p>\n<p><strong>El caval<\/strong>, otro instrumento musical popular de viento con boquilla de silbato, sus sonidos son muy entra\u00f1ables y, por eso, se utiliza para interpretar canciones de desamor, de dolor, de angustia o de a\u00f1oranza.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ion L\u0103ceanu<\/strong>, uno de los m\u00e1s famosos artistas rumanos, nacido en 1936, llamado el hombre orquesta porque toca nueve instrumentos musicales, entre ellos la gaita, el caval, la ocarina, escama u hoja de \u00e1rbol.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<\/p>\n<p>A lo largo de su carrera ha sostenido numerosos conciertos en m\u00e1s de 58 pa\u00edses, ha tocado ante siete presidentes y ante personalidades muy famosas del extranjero, entre ellas el insigne pianista Arthur Rubinstein y el pintor Salvador Dal\u00ed.
