As\u00ed, tendr\u00e1n lugar varios actos conmemorativos con motivo del 34\u00ba aniversario de la Revoluci\u00f3n que cambi\u00f3 el curso de la historia de Ruman\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, el 18 de diciembre es D\u00eda de las Minor\u00edas Nacionales en Ruman\u00eda; el 18.XII.1992 la Asamblea General de la ONU adopt\u00f3 la Declaraci\u00f3n sobre los derechos de las personas pertenecientes a minor\u00edas nacionales, \u00e9tnicas, religiosas y ling\u00fc\u00edsticas; varios Estados reconocieron la importancia de este documento al declarar el 18 de diciembre como D\u00eda Nacional de las Minor\u00edas; Ruman\u00eda celebra este d\u00eda desde hace 25 a\u00f1os.  En 2017, por iniciativa de los 17 diputados pertenecientes al Grupo de Minor\u00edas Nacionales, este d\u00eda fue elevado al nivel de fiesta nacional.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<\/p>\n<p>La revoluci\u00f3n &#8211; Este episodio de la historia de Ruman\u00eda  supuso el final del r\u00e9gimen comunista estalinista del dictador Nicolae Ceau\u015fescu.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<\/p>\n<p>Los actos violentos que ocurrieron durante aquellos d\u00edas condujeron al dictador al abandono del poder y su huida de Bucarest, en compa\u00f1\u00eda de su esposa Elena Ceau\u015fescu. Capturados en T\u00e2rgovi\u015fte fueron enjuiciados por un tribunal militar y ejecutados el 25 de diciembre, primer d\u00eda de Navidad, de 1989.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;<\/p>\n<p>Se estima que el n\u00famero total de muertos debidos a la Revoluci\u00f3n Rumana fue de al menos 1166, seg\u00fan datos oficiales.
