Romanian Nicolae Stanciu has started off on the right foot with his new side Sparta Prague by putting on a good show in the game the Czechs won two-one against Danish squad Aalborg. Stanciu, who was part of Sparta’s line-up all throughout the game, had a considerable hand in Sparta’s victory goal scored by Ondrej Zahustel on 88 minutes.
Another Romanian in Sparta’s line-up, Bogdan Vatajelu, was sent to the pitch in the 67th minute. Sparta is also interested in the transfer of FCSB’s goaltender Florin Nita, who put on an excellent show in the game they won two-nil against Croatian side Osijek. The Romanian side obtained victory thanks to the goals scored by Florin Tanase and Filipe Teixeira in the 10th and 53rd minute, respectively.
Occupying the third position in the first Croatian football league, Osijek failed to convert a penalty shot 16 minutes from time, when Nita denied a shot by Petar Bockaj. During their winter training campaign in Turkey, FCSB has lost two-one to Ukrainian side Olimpik Donetsk. In Spain, the Romanians lost 2-3 to Austrian side Admira Wacker and clinched a 3-1 win against the Chinese from Jiangsu Suning.
