The Romanian men's handball club Dinamo Bucharest once again took a wrong turn in the Champions' League. On Thursday, Barça beat Porto, 38 - 31 and Paris Saint-Germain won 32 - 27 against group leaders, Lomza Vive Kielce. Dinamo remains last placed in the group, and is to play next against Motor Zaporoje, at home, on December 9.

In football, Universitatea Craiova Thursday qualified into Romania's Cup semis. Craiova won at home against 3rd-league team ACSO Filiași, 3-nil. The Bosnian player Elvir Koljic scored first on 24 minutes, and 5 minutes later Andrei Ivan turned the score to 2-nil. Brazilian player Gustavo scored the last goal in the second half.
