Antenna – 60-foot random wire sloping from 15 feet high to 5 feet above ground over the span of wire Topics heard: News – Including current issues with Russia and the Crimea Discussions on Irish cooking, customs, dancing and etc. for Saint Patrick’s Day celebrations in Romania. Your shortwave radio broadcasts are always very interesting. It was of special meaning to me as I am descendant of Irish immigrants (as well as other European ethic groups) to the Americas hence I found it most interesting to learn of the numbers of Irish folks that also moved to Romania. Once again shortwave radio shows its time proven ability to get news and information directly from the source, especially in times as these with world changing events that are occurring in the Crimea. Please keep up the great shortwave broadcasts. Please QSL. Thank you, Best regards, Randall Shreve 5681 South 6800 West Hooper, Utah 84315 USA

Salam mesra (or warm greetings) from Malaysia! I just finished listening to another delightful broadcast of Radio Romania International. I can't begin to tell you how many times over the years I have tuned in to your station. But, I can tell you I first heard Radio Bucharest in the early 1970s, and haven't stopped listening since. Even after 40 years I still find Romania exotic, and this is coming from a guy who has travelled around the world and lived in much of the US, England and Malaysia over his 60 odd years. Why exotic? I suppose it is the way you describe Romanian culture, the varied selection of Romanian music, old and new, and the profiles on Romanians themselves. Romania is indeed much more than Transylvania and, the equally more famous, Nadia Comaneci. I learn so much each time I tune in to RRI. Having caught another broadcast of RRI, I hope you will once again be kind enough to send me still another QSL card of your beautiful country. I must have already at least 40 or more QSLs from RRI, and love looking at each one of them, from time to time. Hope to hear from you soon, and Radio Romania International will continue to thrive on short-wave bands.
