Over 47% of Romania’s nearly 18 million registered voters had voted by 4:00 p.m. local time on Sunday, in the second round of the presidential elections.

Over 47% of Romania’s nearly 18 million registered voters had voted by 4:00 p.m. local time on Sunday, in the second round of the presidential elections.
The turnout is almost double in urban areas compared to rural areas. A record number of voters, over 1.3 million, has already been reported abroad.
