In the
Champions League in women’s handball, CSM Bucharest are at top of the table in
group A, after five games played. With eight points on their record sheet, CSM
Bucharest are followed by Vipers Kristiansand of Norway and Russia’s Rostov-Don,
with 7 points of four games. On Sunday, CSM Bucharest, grabbed a precious 32-to-22 away win against German side Bietigheim. Having sustained
an injury, Cristina Neagu was not on the pitch for CSM’s game against Bietigheim.
CSM Bucharest’s top scorers were Slovenian Elizabeth Omoregie and the
Spaniard Carmen Martin, who scored 7 goals each. Scheduled on November 7, CSM
Bucharest’s next fixture is the match against Slovenia’s Krim Mercator.

Three
of SCM Ramnicu Valcea’s handballers as well as a member of the staff have
tested positive for COVID-19, so this past Sunday’s match pitting SCM against
Borussia Dortmund was postponed. We recall that SCM Ramnicu Valcea’s game

points. They are followed by CFR Cluj, with 18.
