Starting July 1, the minimum gross basic wage in Romania increased by 52.5 euros, reaching almost 827 euros. This 6.8% increase takes the net value of the minimum wage to almost 516 euros.
New legal provisions allow the regularization of the legal situation of foreigners who remained in Romania after the expiration of their right of residence.
Romania will receive a 3-billion-euro loan from the European Commission under the SURE scheme, to support the labor market.
