This training program, featuring workshops, performances, and meetings with music industry professionals and European artists, is designed to provide Ukrainian artists with new opportunities to network and connect with the European music market. The organisers are Europavox, a network that coordinates music festivals in 7 European countries, the French Institute in Romania, and Control Club in Bucharest.
Amid the many challenges posed by the ongoing war, Ukrainian MusicLab will facilitate artistic exchange and collaboration for Ukrainian artists based in Ukraine and across Europe.
The artists can submit their applications until the 22nd of July, following the steps announced in the Application Call on the websites of Europavox and www.institutfrancais.ro.
The hybrid program will take place both online and in person in Bucharest between September and October 2025, featuring workshops, performances, and meetings with music industry professionals and European artists.
Participants must be available for 3 days for online workshops the week of September 22nd 2025, and for 3 days for an in-person showcase in Bucharest, Romania, the week of October 20th, 2025.
Mr Julien Chiappone-Lucchesi, the head of the French Institute in Romania, visited the head offices of Radio Romania International and told us more about the program.
