Romanian parliamentarians will today have their say on the simple motion tabled by the two most important opposition parties – the centre-right Liberal Democratic Party and the populist People’s Party Dan Diaconescu — on the failed privatization of the Romanian state-owned freight company CFR Marfa. One of the strategic goals of Bucharest Government, the privatization of CFR Marfa is among the pledges Romania has taken before the IMF and the EU.
