The Bulgarian film director Tzvetan Dragnev participated in the Taifas Balkan Film and Culture Festival in Timişoara with his observational documentary „Balkan Black Box”.
The film explores the life of musician Kottarashky (Nikola Gruev), a former architect, as he tours the country and performs with his band, „Kottarashky and The Rain Dogs”. The Balkan band fuses jazz, blues and traditional rhythms.
RRI’s Eugen Cojocariu had a talk with Tzvetan Dragnev after the film screening.
