On February 24th, we marked four years since Russia commenced its war of aggression on Ukraine
In the past year Russia stepped up its attacks in the neighbouring country, and that turned 2025 into the most dramatic year for civilians since the onset of the invasion in 2022. Millions were affected by extended cuts in electricity, heating and water supplies, while roughly 10 million were forcefully displaced and humanitarian needs have constantly grown.
