Romania and Sri Lanka have shared diplomatic relations for nearly 70 years. Currently, over 25,000 Sri Lankan nationals are working in Romania across various economic sectors.
RRI’s Eugen Cojocariu has talked to the Sri Lankan Ambassador to Bucharest, His Excellency Samantha Pathirana, about Sri Lankan-Romanian bilateral relations, as well as about tourism and the Sri Lankan community in Romania.
