It has been two years since the Hamas terrorist attack on Israel, on October 7, 2023. An event entitled “Heroism through the Voice of Three Pianos” took place at the National Opera in Bucharest to mark those terrible moments. Prof. Dr. Cătălin Cîrstoiu, manager of the Bucharest University Emergency Hospital, discussed with Dr. Chen Kugel, President of the National Institute of Forensic Medicine in Israel, about the professional-borderline experience in the wake of the Hamas attack of October 7, 2023.
On the same occasion, an artistic program was performed by pianist and composer Gil Shohat, forensic pathologist and…pianist Chen Kugel, and pianist Alexandru Burcă, alongside baritone Alexandru Constantin and members of the Bucharest National Opera Orchestra, under the baton of Daniel Jinga.
We spoke with Dr. Kugel, shortly after event hosted by the Opera House in Bucharest.
