One of the best-known actors of Hollywood’s Golden Age, Edward G Robinson was born in Romania in 1893. When he was 10, he emigrated to the US with his family, and it would take him more than six decades to visit his native country again.
During that nostalgic trip from May, 1966, he also gave an interview to Radio Bucharest, in which he reminisced about his childhood year in the Romanian capital and spoke about his career in Hollywood and his passion for acting.
