On Wednesday, Juventus secured a two-nil win in an away game in Monaco. Now Monaco must clinch a three-nil win in Turin, a quite difficult task as in the present edition of the Champions League, Juventus hasnt received a goal for 600 minutes now.
Romanias national football side could remain without a headcoach as Saudi eleven Al Ahli has voiced its interest in the selector of the national eleven Cristoph Daum. The Arab club has offered Daum two million and a half dollars per season, almost three times the sum offered by the Romanian Football Federation. According to Digi Sport, Daum requested 3 million dollars to be able to pay the salaries of his contributors who will accompany him to Saudi Arabia. According to the same sources, chances are that Daum accepts the Al Ahli offer.
According to the Romanian sports daily Gazeta Sporturilor, Al Ahlis incumbent headcoach, Christian Gross of Switzerland, wants to leave the side at the end of this season in May. If Daum leaves this month, Romanias national side will be left without a coach right before the game against Poland on June 10th. We recall the match is counting towards the World Cup preliminaries in 2018. According to sources with the Romanian Football Federation, quoted by gsp.ro, Daum hasnt made public any offer and neither has an extended contract been discussed yet.
