Bucharest’s FCSB football club Thursday went up to the second place in the Romanian League One ranking. They beat FC Voluntari, away from home, 2-1, in a postponed match counting for the 18th leg of the championship. Games in the women’s handball European championships are also scheduled this weekend. In the Champions’ League, main group 1, CSM Bucharest play away from home against the Norwegian team Vipers Kristiansand. In main group 2, SCM Ramnicu Valcea take on the defending European champions, the Hungarian team Gyor on home court. Both games take place on Saturday. The 2 Romanian teams in the EHF Cup are pitted against Hungarian sides. In Group B, Magura Cisnadie play against Siofok, while in Group C Gloria Bistrita-Nasaud is meeting ERD, on Sunday.
