Over 51% of Romania’s nearly 18 million registered voters had voted by 5:00 p.m. local time on Sunday, in the second round of the presidential election.

Over 51% of Romania’s nearly 18 million registered voters had voted by 5:00 p.m. local time on Sunday, in the second round of the presidential elections.
In the first round on May 4, the turnout was around 40%.
A record number of voters, over 1.4 million, has also been reported abroad.
