A variety of offers were available, both for the coming period and for summer, for all tourist regions of Romania, with considerable discounts for early bookings. First, lets see what the offers are for the Black Sea coast.

Dorina Tanase, the representative of a 4-star spa facility in the Neptun-Olimp resort, tells us more:“We have packages for the 1st of May, Pentecost and 1st of June bank holidays. Apart from half-board, these packages also provide guests with free access to the spas indoor swimming pool and with diverse programmes for children. We have a pool on the third floor with a view of the sea, as well as three types of sauna, an ice bath and emotional showers. The first floor is for the spa and the second floor is for wellness therapies, including relaxation for couples.

A 5-day stay in a double room at this spa centre for the 1st of May holiday costs about 430 euros, while a 2-day stay for the 1st of June holiday is 180 euros.

Corina Martin, the president of the Federation of Tourist Promotion Associations in Romania, recommends the Black Sea as a tourist destination: “Our beaches have the finest sand in Europe and there are resorts for all tastes and all budgets. Mamaia is the number one resort if youre looking for nightlife entertainment, including many international music festivals whose reputation has travelled beyond Romanias borders. Many sports and fashion events are also held here in summer. People looking for spa and wellness holidays should go to Eforie Nord and Eforie Sud, while those who seek a quiet holiday should go to the resorts south of the coast, where there are many all-inclusive facilities for families with children.

Tourist consultant Ciprian Enea recommends the Danube Delta: “Its the most beautiful destination of its kind in Europe. We have deals for all types of tourists, from bird watchers to families with children and seniors wishing to enjoy the specific atmosphere of the Delta. A 4-day stay in a 3 and 4-star hotel, the trip by bus from Bucharest to Murighiol, boat trip from Murighiol to Uzlina and half or full-board ranges from 85 euros per person out of season to 150 euros in July and August. The package also includes bonfire parties, story telling events, swimming pool and optional boat trips.

Kacso Marta, the representative of a hotel compound in Sovata, has more: “We have come up with holiday and spa treatment offers. For instance, a wellness and prophylactic treatment package for five nights, HB, in a four star hotel, free access to the SPA centre, including five treatment procedures prescribed by our medical doctor costs around 310 Euro per person, in a double. I can also recommend to you our Easter offer in a four star hotel. It includes accommodation for three nights in a double room, breakfast and Swedish buffet-style dinner included. We also have a festive Easter lunch on April 8, free access to the SPA centre and various entertainment programs for children. The package costs some 205 Euros per person in a double room.

Radu Barb, the director of the Economic-Social Development Agency of Hunedoara County believes that 2018 will be the best year for the tourism industry: “Entrepreneurs together with the County Council and the town halls of Hunedoara County understood that tourism is the countys main engine of growth and development. Our tourist landmarks can be visited by many tourists. 2017 confirmed this. We say the offer is a generous one, including two Dacian capitals, the Hunyadi Castle, the Deva Fortress, the mountain resorts of Straja, Parâng, Râuşor and Geoagiu. I think that visitors to Romania, who would like to get to know the country, should also visit Hunedoara. There is also a rich event schedule. It is available on our website, hunedoaraturism.ro and hunedoaraturism.com. Both versions are functional. Youll also find detailed information on Dac Fest, the national holiday in Ţebea, on the Hunedoara Lirică festival, and on all most appreciated events. You will also find information on local events.

Gabriel Enache, the guide of the Cluj County Councils National Tourist Information and Promotion Centre takes us to the heart of Romania, in Transylvania: “In 2018, Cluj provides many opportunities for tourists to discover traditions and landscapes, to attend modern, traditional and classical music festivals, depending on what everyone wants to see or hear. The Apuseni Mountains lie in the western part of the county, where tourists can visit important monuments of the Romanian and Hungarian communities. South of the county, one can go to Cheile Turzii (Turda Gorges), Feleacu, the Turda salt mine and the town of the same name. Turda is more than the well known salt mine, as it boasts a 2,000 year long history, which can be discovered in the towns History Museum. Following the north-east route, one can reach Nicula, the most important Orthodox monastery in Transylvania, where the tradition of icons painted on glass is still preserved. The city hall of Cluj Napoca is the centre of this universe. It is here that Romanians, Jews, Germans and, more recently, other ethnic groups are coexisting peacefully. The town has also become a pole of the IT industry.
