    Nabucco – an essential project for Europe

According to figures submitted by the Child Protection Department at the end of 2012, social assistance authorities had on their books 79,901 children with parents working abroad. Of them 41% had no parental care whatsoever. Of them 22,993 had both parents abroad, while 9,991 came from single parent families where the parent was working abroad.

If we take a look at northern Moldavia, for example, agricultural businesses have diversified significantly. The traditional maize, wheat or sunflower crops have gradually been replaced with crops that are a less familiar sight for this region, crops which investors find easy to export and from which they can make good profit.

    The Gambrinus Beerhouse
    Beraria Gambrinus The Gambrinus beerhouse is one of the landmarks of Romania’s capital Bucharest. The place literally became famous thanks to the great Romanian playwright Ion Luca Caragiale’s short stories. It is located in an area dense with restaurants, pubs and cafeterias: the Victoria Avenue, near the former National Theater Building, which meanwhile disappeared.

    Information for motorists
    We’ll present to you some provisions of law on the access to Romania of people traveling by car. At the border check points, EU citizens have to produce an ID card or a passport, the car registration certificate and the car insurance certificate. Moreover, citizens driving rented cars must produce the car rental contract valid during their stay in Romania; the contract should stipulate the countries where the car rental company does not allow its cars to run.

    RRI’s programmes in English are again available for listening on demand. Each programme will be stored for one week and will be available to listen again to via our website, www.rri.ro, in WMA format, approximately 2 hours after broadcast. All you need to do is click the “Listen Again to RRI Broadcasts” button to the right-hand side of the website, select the day and then click the “LISTEN AGAIN” button next to the programme you wish to listen to.
